IMPORTANT DATES TO REMEMBER

Here are a a few of the dates that you need to write in your schedules immediately. Remember work is not an excuse to miss a performance. Any member that does not perform at an event, and was not excused from the event by Mr. Myers will receive a One-Letter Grade reduction for the nine-weeks grading period.

Saturday, September 8, 2007 - Junior High Band @ Canaan Fall Festival
- Call time 9:00 a.m. at the High School

Thursday, September 27, 2007 - Junior High Band @ Pumpkin Show Evening Parade
- Call time 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion

Saturday, September 29, 2007 - High School and Junior High Band @ Pumpkin Show Parade
- Call time 8:45 a.m.
- Junior High meet at Tyson United Methodist Church
- High School meet at Tyson Fellowship Hall

Saturday, October 6, 2007 High School and Junior High Band @ Aurora Farmer's Fair Parade
- Call time 8:00 a.m. at South Ripley High School

The start of school is almost here!

Hello everyone!

This is Mr. Myers, as you can see I have taken over Mr. Stauffer's blog. I will use this blog as a way to post information about the various bands at South Ripley. If you have not had your instrument out of its case this summer, please get it out and at least make sure all of the valves and keys are in working order. If you get bored you may even want to play a few notes to get your chops back in shape. Enjoy your last two days of freedom before school starts on Wednesday. We will work hard this year but I we will also have a lot of FUN!!! I look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday!
